Most versatile pedal?

I've had the Orange Amp 'Getaway Driver' for a couple of years now, and I reckon it would be the most versatile pedal that I own. So far I've used it as; 1. A guitar amp-in-a-box for rehearsing/ live/ recording. 2. As a boost pedal with the gain very low, and the 'Bite' control at about four. 3. An Iommi/ Brian May-style treble booster with the gain low, and the 'Bite' control at seven or eight. 4. Pure cab-sim with the pedal bypassed, coming out of the stereo out. 5. Just a classic mid-forward overdrive (especially good when run in parallel on bass) 6. Added an MXR knob to the 'Bite' control and used my foot as a kind of slow wah 7. and of curse, when all else fails, a paperweight

What other pedals out there have a heap of uses that you think people might not know about?

dude, just... dude

when I was a teenager we just turned shit up, sometimes for more we used distortion, primitive crap like a ts9 or ds1, but rockin' was about a blitzkrieg of enveloping loudness and your amp releasing its inner rock, no fiddling around with lots of controls. Marshall all controls up and liquefying all the pigeons in the vicinity. Vox AC30 at 10, BF fender boosted out front at 10! F anyone who wants contrlled rock guitar. F livenation and ticketmaster and lame-o bar owners!

no wonder rock is dead, the idea is to offend people, forget the gadgets, get a marshall and gun it up, man, make music your parents don't like... or that your grandparents don't like even though they live a few states away, cuz they can hear you from there and wish you were never born

ah, sh¡t happens

GEN-X in the hizzy!!! Most amps (Gorilla, Peavy, Fender) have volume knobs that go up to 10....psssht, just grab a pair of pliers and crank that knob further. It'll go to 11...11 1/2. Happy playing!

gen X represent! I always consider building an amp with a mute footswitch and no controls, its either full tilt or off. Maybe a 50 watter on my jim-watt platform which is a higher gain hiwatt I built a while back. Anyway, I've dabled in attenuators but I only used to knock 4db off 100 watts, I play ludicrously loud, always have and won't change. If you play well, no one says a word... except maybe "my ear drum broke during the second song."
