NCD (New Cab Day)! Barefaced Big Baby II (3rd gen)

Just received my Big Baby II Cabinet and boy oh boy isn't it just the thing the doctor ordered. I have been struggling with the bass sound for a while now. I felt that it somehow lacked the depth and definition I would like to hear. I have a MarkBass 2 x 10" Traveler cabinet which in lower volumes is quite ok in its own right and have done its job for the past 8 years or so.

I was researching for a 4 x 10" cab and I got a tip from a fellow bassist to check out the Barefaced cabinets. So I did go over to their website at www.barefacedbass.com and was in for a couple of nights worth of reading. What a great site if you really want to know what is happening under the hood of a bass cabinet!

So I have been taking this Big Baby out for a spin now in my home and at a band rehearsal. IT delivers! Let me tell you! I'm so happy now. The best bass sound I have ever had. Not only is it LOUD (I can literally make the house shake) but it's also defined, no matter where I stand.

I can nothing but recommend this for every bass player wanting a portable, yet powerful cabinet in their arsenal.

Next stop: Gig in a small venue.
