Pedalboard Power Supply

Im looking at upgrading from a one spot, i was wondering what a good pedalboard power supply would be for running a 6-10 pedal pedalboard, i know a lot of people use voodoo but I'm just curious about other alternatives, not in price I'm fine dishing 300 for a power supply if i feel like it

edit: I'm looking at the voodoo lab 2 plus, i like the idea of the sag feature and being 8 spots with ability to power an 18v if I'm using one is another nice feature

there are a ton of great options, I use none of them and daisy chain 3 pedals off my tuner and then run my 18 volt MIDI drive off its own supply all into one of my furmans with isolated plugs along with the head switcher. No issues, but I run so few effects and let my amps do the work.... it about avoiding ground loops on 3+tube amps for me. Voodoo lab treated me well back in the day though. I also have toured with a crate of 9 volts too. I just changed them every 2 weeks.

The most powerful power supplies on the market are Yankee Power Supplies. I have a $350 model. Their flagship model is $700 but comes with every bell and whistle you can want for a power supply including LED monitoring, adjustable power, etc. They are dead quiet, built with very thick metal, and have a massive selection of jacks of all ranges of power levels at default. The only downside is that because they are made in Austria, you need to make sure you get the AC adapter for your nation. I got stuck with the European plug.

ill definitely look into them or try to find them used

If you plan on putting them UNDER your pedalboard, you will need to make sure the dimensions are right for it. My brick was a little too tall for my pedaltrain, but then again, I think these were designed to be on top of the board.

Boom said 'powerful power supplies'.

truly the importance of your power supply is based on the quantity and diversity of your effects. These fancy supplies are for pedal fanatics, the kinda guys with the largest board you can carry without breaking your back. A guy like me doesn't worry about this stuff.... I am still trying to simplify further and wonder if I went thre wrong route with individual MIDI comonents and a few analog pieces mixed in and if I should just score one of those fractal floor units that does effects with no amp modelling and just call it a day on individual pedals. Unless you want insane effects like EQD and dwarfcraft type of designs that are totally unique and un-guitar like I am beginning to questions the efficacy of individual pedals when these all in one systems are getting so good and so easy to use.

I think the single pedals are trying to stay relevant by having multiple tubes in the pedal.

I don't even know what you mean by that, its the rare pedal that ahs a vacuum tube in it and few of them run the vacuum tube at proper voltage where it acts like its supposed to.

I was referring to pedals like the Two Notes Le Bass, EBS ValveDrive DI, Fuchs Plush Verbrator, and Friedman Motor City Drive. It's becoming trendy again to have pedals with the valves visible. It's companies' attempt to keep sales on the pedals and away from the new line of digital products like the Kemper.

they aren't doing much, its a sucker play

The GigRig modular power system! I use it and love it. Clean, noiseless, isolated power. It's modular, so it can grow as your pedalboard expands.
