Money, that will solve your problems.

jk although most top artists pay for views etc..

Organic reach - sharing in groups, promotion pages, paying someone to share to groups etc..

A lot of it nowadays revolves around how much money you want to spend.

And I just find that ridiculous, if something is good wouldn't you want too share it, I mean I've sent files of my songs too some other soundcloud pages that have huge amounts of likes but then they never get back to me, and I mean a lot of the stuff they repost isn't that great, (not to inflate my ego but I definitely wrote better stuff, then some of it)

maybe if you posted your soundcloud address here so we could all swap likes/follows [or whatever they call them] you could also get some objctive feedback on how superior your stuff actually is

I would say a lack of sound quality is the first obstacle to overcome. You can elarn to be a better engiener for yourself (which is a lfie long chore) or you could go book soem studio time if there are still commercial recording studios where you live. I would guess that the weird sonics of your demos are grabbing the attention of the people who you're asking to repost them. They are probably not really lsitening to the music. That's my $.02 anyway, YMMV. bring the clowns sounds a little better comared to the oens with that wall of distortion. Vocal is ebtter delivered and recorded... the acoustic could sue more top end.. whatever. But you should try to keep future stuff at that sonic benchmark. That's about as scrappy as you want things to sound if you're expecting strangers to listen all the way through.
