Tuner Pedals
Hey guys
I purchased a TC Electronic Poly Tune 2 some time ago and now I reached the full capacity of my multi-power-supply.
my question: The TC has one DC power output to power other pedals. Is this output galvanically isolated?
Thx in advance
Hello jimmarchi1
first of all thx for your reply!
To answer your question about how i ran out of possibilities of powering my pedals! I am new on equipoard and i haven't uploaded all my gear yet!
To my board: I go into my wah (Dunlop GCB95) then into my MXR fet driver, into my early 90s TS-9, into the Tonebender (which i power with a 9V battery, but I'll try the 7V!) and then into the Lehle. Channel A goes into Channel 1 of my Fender Bl deluxe which I have connected to an early 70s Fender Bassman Cab for punching my sound. Channel B of the Lehle goes into another OD for the possibility to color my solos and them into a Boss RC -30 looper and into channel 1 of a 67 Fender Bassman. Channel C goes to a TC electronic Poly Tune. A Marshall RG - 1, which I use as a Leslie pedal, a G Lab SD-1delay and a TC Hall of fame mini reverb I run in the Blues Dlx's FX loop. Not too many pedals actually. I use a Gator power supply, which has 9 DC outputs, which are not isolated but I never had problems with. Now I have 9 pedals that need to be powered and I didn't want to buy a single power supply (too many single cables then)
Does a Voodoo Lab really make the noise reduction better? Is there an isolated power supply with more than 8 outputs?
Nice article, I really like it. Thanks for it!
