What is this Fender guitar?

I came across this Fender Telecaster in a music documentary, the logo and lettering looks fairly legible but the shape and 3 over/3 under tuner arrangement is unusual for a Tele. Curious if anyone knows more about this guitar model:

Ah yes! I was searching for tele-style baritones with snakehead/banjo-ish headstocks and coming up empty. But YES, the old Dan-o baritones had headstocks like that, just with the little bump on top... maybe they sanded it down or found a kit neck Dan-o knockoff?

Still searching. You did the right thing by going to TDPRI first, that's what I would have advised. Funny that they came to similar conclusions.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the neck came from a Silvertone Baritone.

Headstock shape looks like a perfect match.

Thanks! I appreciate all the theories including the Danelectro/Silvertone resemblance. I think I will just be forever mystified by that Fender logo on the headstock. (I myself just went down a Jerry Jones wormhole— custom guitar builder in Nashville, also used similar Danelectro parts and known to build baritone guitars, but I can’t find any evidence he ever built a Tele hybrid like this one.)

Whoever put that local decal on did an expert job picking a version that fit juuust right -- but we all know you can buy any and every style and size of Fender waterslide decal on eBay for a few bucks. Supplying bootleg Fender logos for everyone's project aftermarket/Warmoth/Musikraft/Allparts necks is a whole little industry unto itself.

Good point! Okay, I added it to Natalia Lafourcade’s gear as a “Partscaster” since the general consensus seems to be this looks like a mix and match of different makes and models. Any alternative I.D. suggestions are welcome of course.

Also, FWIW, I checked out the inventory of Sonic Ranch where I suspect that scene was shot, and they have a Danelectro baritone in the inventory, because of course, but no baritone parts casters like this. So either it was a guitar that just came floating through the studio, or it (obviously) belongs to one of the producers, engineers, band members or Natalia herself. Someone put a lot of love into fitting those big lipstick pickups into that bound tele body... and not every dan-o/silvertone neck fits on every tele body easily... so I'd love to know the story with this guitar if it ever comes to light.
