Is it me or the pedal?

I have been frequently using this pedal over 3 years. It is currently out-of-order. In working condition, it is a great, versatile wah. It is awesome to have a light to let you know the wah is on. I wonder why this didn't pick up on all of their other models...... The reason for out-of-order, is most likely my fault, but don't you expect your pedals to be stepped on???? I don't "click" my pedal on, I hold them true to their name & stomp on them.
