yeah, sort of an SG standard without binding, trapezoid inlays, all the visual candy... but I've never picked up a humbucker SG special that FELT as mice as my standard or sounded as good... I feel like they cut tons of SG bodies in Nashville and then they mate the best ones to the necks with binding and trap inlays and then the specials get all the seconds... I actually like the bare bones aesthetic of the special, but I wound up with a standard because its ore special than the special sonically
