Nothing too special, but I'm grateful for my little Samick. If I remember correctly, it's a Korean brand, and I bought it used for about $120 at a local pawn shop. They sound pretty good considering the cheap price-point, and they're great for starting bass players. I've managed to get some pretty good use out of it, and it's served me well without any technical problems so far.
