Nice combination of price and quality

I got it for approximately 30 pounds on AliExpress and it’s amazing for this price. Nothing outstanding, but very good sounding pedal. If you need a small amount of reverb this is what you need. Behringer DR600 has much worse enclosure and eats your tone much more.

One disadvantage I found: it adds a little hiss. Just a little. Noticeable only of you play something cleanish. If your distortion is on - no way to hear it.

It's all about JHS marketing

It's a two transistor topology, a simple schematic circuit that costs 200 bucks. This is basically everything you need to know. Is it better than the Fuzz face? - No. And the problem with this pedal is that if your amp is dark, or the tone knob is set up pretty low (or treble, or presence) - this pedal won't give you the best it can. And the paint on all JHS Legends of Fuzz series perdals is so bad that almost any velcro rips it off. I'll be selling it

Did you try maxing the fuzz knob and rolling your guitar volume back? Counterintuitively this not only cleans up a fuzz face but adds treble. It's a quirk of the input impedance you can exploit as long as there's nothing between your guitar and fuzz.

jimmarchi1, no doubt about that! There’s no point in using Fuzz Face type fuzzes not maxed out. I had Dunlop Fuzz Face mini on silicon transistors and it was much brighter, with more high frequencies even with the tone know all the way down on my Orange Tiny Terror and presence all the way down on my Marshall Origin 20H. I don’t really like to play with the volume knob on my guitar when using Fuzz Face type of pedals, it should be all the way up for more gain and fuzz for my solos. And yes, Fuzz Face type fuzzes should always go first in a pedal chain, otherwise the quality plummets down. Although I don’t like this feature. Two transistors topology is very noisy. My MXR Variac Fuzz is 5th in the chain and there’s absolutely no difference in quality.. so.. I know, I just don’t like Fuzz Faces. But I also didn’t like this exact pedal. Dunlop versions seemed better to me, and they are a bit cheaper also, especially on the aftermarket

It's okay

I didn't really like the Body knob... Not sure what pedal this pedal is closer to, but sounds great and very versatile. You can a lot of sounds out of it, from OCD to Tube Screamer

Amazing!

Very cool pedal for its price! But for me not expressive enough. Definitely not cooler than VOX and Ibanez. But very close to CryBaby. It's also a volume pedal and for its price a very good one. It's small and won’t eat a lot of space in your pedalboard.

Amazing!

This thing is just incredible! It gives you a very nice and warm tube sound, amazing reverb, and a whole lot of equalizer settings. And all that for an amazing price! I heard people comparing it to the Marshall tone, and I agree with that. It’s very far from Fender, Ibanez, and so so far from the VOX tone. Marshall is the closest one.

There’s one thing that is not ideal on this amp: you can get a true clean tone only with the gain knob set to 1 (out of 10), only like this you can play with the volume. If you move it just slightly down, you will lose power (even if gain is 0.8), or forget about the clean sound when strumming if it’s 1,5.
