Never Going Back to Velcro

I couldn't be happier with my Holeyboard. Getting everything in place, zip tied and wired takes a bit of time, but the end result is definitely worth it. Highly recommend over Velcro-based alternatives!

Beware the Starter Pack Guitar

Don't be fooled by the name on the headstock, this guitar is mediocre at best. The Fender DG-8S is sold in a starter pack designated for those looking to get their start with the guitar. It looks cheap, feels cheap and plays... cheaply.

Look elsewhere; there are much better, similarly priced alternatives out there.

Solid for Starting Out

If you are looking for an affordable, yet dependable instrument to add to your collection, the Ibanez ART100 is a solid choice. The stock hardware isn't anything to hoot about and the body and neck are smothered by polyurethane, but it's a good guitar otherwise.

An Unwavering Favorite

Schecter has a reputation for putting a lot of love into their mid-to-high range instruments; the Hellraiser Special Solo 6 is a testament to that. I purchased mine new roughly three years ago, and my love for it has only grown since then. The hardware on this incredibly well-built instrument opens up a ton of possibilities and makes it a strong competitor to other guitars that fetch much larger prices. Some knock this instrument for its unique "teardrop" sunburst finish, but I would argue that it is a gorgeous addition that complements the body's oblong Les Paul shape perfectly.

Versatile & Unique

With just the right amount of aesthetic appeal and operational efficiency, the SK1-ST is a great addition to any player's collection. The coupling of neck-through design and a set of EMG 81/85 pickups make it an incredibly versatile instrument that offers a ton of sustain. The oiled neck on this guitar is unlike anything I have played before. Definitely took some getting used to at first, but now I have trouble putting this one down!
