Got the guitar for free, so I decided to modify it. Removed all pickups and installed an Entwistle X3 humbucker in bridge position. Tune down to drop C or B and damn, it's a killer.

Bought it to practice at home. Took it to a band practice once... Now I am absolutely in love. The amp sounds great on an oversized 412 cabinet. Has a lot of low-end punch, so it can smash your face into a wall. The clean channel is very delicate and sounds great, although it does not have that kind of low end and grit which I enjoy. The only downside of this amp that I found - there is no way to plug in a footswitch, so either you modify the amp or substitute that with gear.
