Fast but different

As someone who has tried many Daw's in the past i came to bitwig because i had outgrew my ableton live intro license but was unable to afford the upgrade. I originally learned some of the basics in logic but got a live intro license just to see if a different way of working suited me more which in this case it did but ableton was so expensive that although i liked some aspects of the workflow it wasn't going to be in the budget so i looked for alternatives and found out about bitwig. I've been a user since 1.1 and I've never bought a software from a developer that works on the software constantly making new improvements in updates as fast as Bitwig does it. Their support services are top notch and you get an email within a day actually getting clarifications from a human being about a problem you are having and possible solutions . AS for the software itself to me it is a big mix of all of the daws I've tried in one truly unique software. The gui is super sleek and the search function is probably the fastest one i've ever used in any software and the ability to tag any sound based on its characteristics and mark some of your favorites makes it super fast to call up a plugin or preset you might have without having to scroll through and open a bunch of folders like you typically would do in Logic or Ableton. Modulation is another key feature in Bitwig that I believe separates from any other daw out there . Its basically a lot like plugins like massive but in Bitwig I can use any sort of modulation source like an lfo or audio from another track to modulate any number of parameters within a device chain which in my experience has allowed me to come up with sounds that I never would have come up with in other software just because It's so easy to experiment in Bitwig without having to draw 50 something lanes of automation. The effects in my personal opinion as someone who isn't the greatest mixer in the world can be a little complex to me because they use a lot of terminology that isn't really shared in other daw's but I'm sure a more experienced mixer would have no problem figuring them out but the ones I do understand sound incredible. Lastly the instruments are killer both the polysynth and the fm 4 have a multitude of sounds a lot of which are inspired from the underground scene specifically from the artists that are in their area Berlin which makes it a techno dudes dream. Bitwig all in all is in my opinion very different then anything else out there and I know for a fact that it will continue to grow a larger and larger following as time goes on you owe it to yourself to just research it I can't really do it justice cause I'm not very good with words but there are just so many things that set it apart from other software.
