Love this amp 5 stars
I like it really has 4 channels. The IRs are cool, but I use my stereo pair of Two Notes Torpedo Cab M plus IR boxes. The weight is just under 25lb. Wish the leds on the footswitch were green, blue, purple, and red. But. I see why they didn't because you can change things up.
I own 2 very useful preamps.
I have used these ADA MP-1 preamps for a long time. I had them in a couple of racks that evolved. They were consistent and dependable. I ENJOYED the use of MIDI for a long time. I ran 2 MIDI controllers: one for changing just my tones and another for CC control of effects. I used the ADA MP-1 with Rocktron Replifex and Intellifex together. I used a Boss NS-2 to quiet the ADA MP-1 in the loop of the Boss NS-2 ran the output into a Tube Works Real Tube II preamp always on clean for use if the stereo fx loop. Love these little amps I own 2 for stereo.
They were used live in stereo many times. I always mic them anyways. THEY ARE PLENTY LOUD! Work great for pedal platform. I use them with my Tube amps that I run dry. I send Two Notes Torpedo Captor 8 boxes and they drive stereo fx into Two Notes Torpedo Cab M plus IR boxes and Orange Micro Terror amps in stereo.

Diverse amp with dynamics.
When I first got it, I thought the midrange was too much. I decided to use a global eq to tame it. I put an Empress ParaEQ to cut mids to a normal level. I still have plenty of mids. Not scooped sound. Also, I can fine tune lows and highs. Attenuate -12db or -6db if needed. I run at 50 watts. Also, put 12ay7 tubes in V1and V2. Lowered gain a bit. Changed fx loop serial. I use Boss NS-2 at input and fx loop. Greatly improves this amp for me. I use the 3 channels and Boogie EQ for post lead boost. The JP2C inspired me to try a 2nd Eq on this amp.
Great amp
Love the MIDI, concentric pots, 3 channels, foot controller works great. Forgot it once, my MIDI controller worked great. Love all the channels, the 3rd channel has too much gain, I barely have it turned up, more than enough. I do now use an ISP Decimator Micro G. I use it at the input and fx loop.
