Hi all - I have a Fender Acoustasonic Player Telecaster which I absolutely love! Currently, I am running it directly into my PA. This sounds great for the acoustic sounds and even pretty good for the electric sounds, but my signal chain is obviously lacking any effects.

My question: If I add a Zoom A1X Four multieffects pedal to my chain, will I need to include the guitar modeling in my patches?

In theory, the Acoustasonics are already modeling the proper acoustic guitar tones in the guitar. So if I am playing in one of the modeled positions, I shouldn't need to also model a guitar in the Zoom software patch. Right? I think that I would only want to utilize the Zoom's guitar models if I am playing in the middle position that only used the raw piezo signal.
