It has been confirmed that it was an Electra Guitar by a Youtube user and ive got to agree its the same headstock and all.was also told that its possibly a late 70s x320 model with a built in effects board which is very rare for the time

Hi guys, i was wondering about Layne Staley's(Alice In Chains singer) guitars. He played guitar very seldom in his time in AIC and Mad Season but I am interested in 1 particular guitar. I know he played an 1966 Gibson SG and some early 1990s Sgs up until the end of 1993 in AIC for the song "Angry Chair" and a Gibson acoustic I believe for the Unplugged show. But my question is what is the guitar he played on live versions of Mad Seasons "Don t Know Anything" (circa 1994)and in his final Alice in Chain concerts supporting Kiss in Summer 1996? The guitar in question is very similar to a Les Paul in shape and layout but the headstock is not the usual style.the corner on the treble side of the headstock extends further than the bass side.it is a dark sunburst.the logo on the headstock is a circle with maybe a cross design in the centre.I can confirm that he played that guitar on a live video recording on Self Pollution Radio show in Seattle Washington on Jan 8th 1995 and at his very final AIC gig in Kansas City July 1996. Any information as to the maker would be greatly appreciated.
