Good for what it is.
It's a practice amp, and a good practice amp. Don't expect more out of it than that.

Great player, not as great sound.
This bass is fantastic in terms of playablility. It's 30.25" scale, and thin satin neck makes it super fun to play on. However, the mudbucker in the neck position seriously limits the variability of tones in this bass, and the raw sound coming out of it is generally too muddy.

It's pretty rad.
Modded mine up with a pair of kick ass dimarzio pickups, and switched out the stock bridge for a rickenbacker 4004 tailpiece, similar to a schaller 463. It plays like a dream.
