Perfect midi controller

At last I bought one of these. Simply perfect for my needs, powerful and solid. Key tool for my most recent release "Signal Found", specially the arpeggiator which was so good for some sections of my EP. The semi-weighted keys are great and comfortable, the construction is solid rock and also you have two 5 pin midi in and out connectors. Amazing keyboard.

Best price quality ratio

As title says, this thing is great and even better for the price, I bought mine 4 years ago and it´s still working perfectly.

Sounds interesting

I don´t use it in my songs because the Valhalla Supermassive does everything really better than this one and it´s my reverb to go but this Room041 has a nice sound and maybe in the future I use it in some track.

Dirty and cool

I use it sometimes to add a beautiful dirtiness to some of my patches and it sounds really cool.

One of my best buys

I bought it second hand in great condition, you can´t note a single difference between mine and a brand new, excellent at that level, just amazing. One of my best buys, not an audio interface expert here so don´t expect a deep explanation, works perfect and it has all the features that I need for my music.

My love, my partner, my everything

I bought this laptop in 2020, it always rocked like the first day, I don´t know if the brand is known in other parts of the world, I´m from Argentina and this is a very good brand and machine, I never had a problem with it, I run Reaper+Analog Lab V perfectly and how the economy is in my country right now I take care of my Exo as if it were the holy grail, essential for my music creation and my studio.

I wanted to love it, sincerely

I felt a lot of curiosity and intrigue about this synth, I saw a lot of videos and I just wanted to buy one and try it by myself, when I finally could buy one it wasn´t the best experience sincerely. I really wanted to love it, I never felt lost in the archaic interface and the edition section, it´s just the sound, the limitations, this synth never convinced me, just like the Xiosynth, I composed a couple of songs that I finished with more practicality with my Oxy 8 and Analog Lab V+Reaper. In the end at least I could play a legendary vintage synth but sometimes the desire to buy and try an old synth hardware like this one does not end up being the definitive experience, lesson learned, I sold it and I hope it has touched the heart of another buyer.

Great sounding, horrendous construction

This one has some really interesting features, I enjoyed it for a while but mine died in 3 months because I bought it second hand and mine had known better times, a long time ago. I love the effects and the edition of the presets is not hard at all, at least for me, the onboard audio interface is handy. The worst thing about this synth is the construction, without a doubt, it feels cheap and too much plastic-y, that added to the bad treat the synth received in the past were the absolute death.

Funny

I had it for a while, some sounds are cool, the synth section is funny but it is too much lo-fi for my taste.

Just perfect

What to say about this gem? It fits perfectly with my needs, tons of sounds at my disposal to create my works, the chance to edit the presets gives an even more beautiful factor to this plug-in, I love it.

My best friend in this sonic trip

I just love how the keys feel in this beauty, absolutely comfortable for my playing, I´m not a big user of the knobs in my music project but they´re ok to me, also it´s always lovely feel the analog wheels instead of those tactile stuff in other midi keyboards. The construction is solid and reliable, it has two 5 pin midi outputs(keyboard and usb) which is a cool feature. I´m working in my new EP and this buddy never failed, so I am really happy using it in my new sonic trip.

Cheap hidden gem for the studio

Well,of course the Arturia Microlab has better keys, but it was a bit limited for some stuff, for example,i couldn´t control my Volca Keys with that one,or at least not in a simple simple way, this O2 has midi out and that is really helpful. In terms of controls, the keys sometimes feel a bit weak but it´s ok,not a big problem,i don´t like the pitch bend and mod in the classic wheel shape but you get used to it,the knobs are not the best in the market but they work fine and feel good,in general i love how my workflow goes using this one paired to Analog Lab V,it works perfect for me and it is helping me to finish my first EP,get one,it´s cheap and great.

My favorite

I´m new to soft synths and this came with my first controller,a Midiplus X3 Mini, and since that moment i just loved it. Great presets,a lot of amazing sounds here from synths that of course,i will never have in my entire life, and you can edit them,so the combinations/possibilities for your compositions are infinite.

Simple and fantastic

It´s a very simple midi controller but i´m kinda new to soft synths so it´s not a problem for me,but maybe in the future i´ll buy something with more knobs probably. The Microlab has amazing keys, they feel great, that point is the strongest one in my opinion, also the usb cable attached to the controller is handy, little cool controller. I use Analog Lab V a lot and this little guy works fantastic.

Little Machine,Great Sound

First week with the Volca FM and i really love it,of course i barely scratched the surface with this machine at the moment, but you can get a lot of amazing sounds, full exploration will be fantastic. If you want to play better with it,you will need a midi controller because like in the Keys, the built in keyboard is not the best choice. Cuckoo´s tutorial is pretty good to understand how to create and save your own patches and everything about this beautiful synth, highly recommended for beginners or experts alike.

Simple, some good sounds, nothing else

It has some good onboard sounds but I don´t like how the keys feel, too cheap, no 5 pin midi out, simple machine, poor midi controller.

lost_in_reverb

Cheap,underrated,great

I try to keep it simple in terms of gear,if it works for me it´s ok,i found this thing after my Zoom G3 died,it sounds amazing, specially the ambient and distorted tones,in a few minutes i was creating my own patches easily. This pedal is also an audio interface and that was another strong point to buy it,it works great with every daw with no latency problems in my case. It´s old, yeah and also cheap, around $91,if i give it 4 stars is because the knobs feel a bit weak and the led screen is really archaic and basic. The verdict is positive,i underestimate it the first time but at the end this was a fantastic surprise.

Pretty good and simple room amp

I have a family,i have not so much space to play and first of all,i am a room player,so this little guy works perfect for me,the clean sound is the strongest point in my opinion but i can´t complaint about the overdrive channel, simple and trusty.

Great MIDI controller, unbeatable in terms of price-quality relationship

Great MIDI controller, the touch pitch and mod wheels are a cool feature,37 weighted sensitive keys and a really comfortable design,it has even midi out. The only problem with these things is that i just can´t find the passion to play them, using vsts to make music feels so sterile to me,because of that i will buy a hardware synth in the near future.

lost_in_reverb

Not for me i said, but i´m changing my mind..

In the last month i used Reaper a lot,i finally changed my mind about virtual synths, vsts and plugins, and this daw allows me to experiment with that stuff, another great point is that i can play with Valhalla Supermassive in real time,so i think this daw is really good for me and my needs these days,of course i still choose Audacity over this one in terms of urgency and simple direct recording of my guitar and effects, but they are differents beasts i guess.
