It's pretty great if you only need the one mic in and one line in.

Very nice to mess around with, but I probably wouldn't use it in an actual track outside of chiptunes.

A simple MIDI controller, does what it needs to do and nothing less.

a great synth for making analog-style basses, although I wouldn't buy one at the current going price online.

LMMS is a good free DAW for making beats/electronic stuff, just don't expect anything amazing in terms of audio capabilities.

Ardour is a very powerful free DAW. It's almost the anti-LMMS in that it's great for anything you'd need in terms of recording, mixing, and audio, but is somewhat lacking in MIDI capabilities.

Definately the best music software for the gameboy. I use it mainly with my GBA SP.

Amazing for creating custom synths,weird MIDI arpeggiators, effects, and basically anything else music-related that isn't too complicated.
