Good Floyd equipped guitar introduction.
This was my first Floyd equipped guitar. This guitar was a good introductory, but it had its issues.
To start, the first month was not so pleasant- I had stripped the screw head in the claw so I could not fine tune my bridge angle to be correct for my tuning. After this was fixed, I had replaced the bridge and nut with gotoh pieces. In late 2020 the fretboard has started cracking and it has now been disassembled at the headstock to prevent further cracking. This guitar is actually built really well for a cheaper guitar- it has a nice chunkier than usual neck for an ibanez with a satin finish and excellent dark rosewood fretboard, nice thick body and beautiful beige finish, nice pearloid pickguard, it was just the hardware and electronics that were fairly inexpensive really. Overall, this guitar had it's issues but for an inexpensive guitar it was really pleasant and a bit more than what I expected. It is not a long term guitar but a great introductory to the Floyd systems.

Classic 80s Ibanez Japan quality!
This guitar offers you an amazing 80s vibe with the H S S configuration, locking trem and fast neck! 10+ pickup options with your humbucker, single single and 3 mini toggles for each. Each pickup sounds great, nice stratty sounding IBZ/USA hum cancelling singlecoils in the neck and middle and a dimarzio Fred in my case in the bridge (splittable with the 3 way mini toggle for the humbucker). This guitar has the original 80s Wizard neck which is incredibly slim and fast even for being a glossy neck. The Ibanez edge bridge is my alltime favorite bridge. period. Overall this guitar is the 80s look, feel and sound.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Typically used for glam rock/metal sound- full bridge humbucker with full volume, nice and glassy.

Amazing O/D pedal.
I mainly use this for my Cliff Burton bass rig I am putting together. Works very good with the wah I own (Morley PWB) as it "Boosts" the level of wah so it is easier to be heard in your signal chain, really makes it scream too. I also sometimes use this just as an O/D with my guitar, and it is an amazing pedal.

Amazing for die-hard Cliff Burton fans looking to recreate his.
I bought mine from The Trading Musician store down in Seattle. I am a huge fan of Cliff Burton and I am re creating his rig. This goes along with an Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer, and sometimes some Delay (Working on getting an Ibanez HD1000/1500) in my signal chain. If you are trying to get really close to his tone, you will not be let down.
