Fun tool in my collection

I use this for multiple purposes, the first being an obvious choice as a recording method. I will finalize some tracks to a reel so I can get a warmer, analog feel and a little bit of flutter and wow. Another use which is common with these things is as a delay effect which this has come in handy for many times.

My final use is for making little melodic loops that I sample onto me ES1 or computer, the tape runs for a few minutes looping away and loosing quality, stretching and becoming more distorted. Splicing the tape is a pain but its worth it for the unique sounds it gives.

I swear by this thing

Had two of these, one as a drum machine and one for main melodies, I gave one to a friend who somehow managed to break it in the same month but whatever. This little powerhouse is used largely in all of my work, it just works so well with whatever I do.

Like it, don't love it.

Purchased one of these through Sweetwater (3 month payments woo!) and maybe i'm too used to my older electribes but I can't get comfortable working with this thing. Maybe I will warm up to this with more use but I find myself picking out the ES1 over this thing.

The little work horse that could.

I got this one birthday as a gift from my in laws since i'm sure they had heard me ragging on about needing a new synth. Because of this keyboard and the Drumbrute I now swear by Arturia and their outputs.
