Ultimate recording guitar
I had this guitar for about 5 years. I absolutely loved it, the pickup configuration set up is a great idea, the trisonics gave the distinctive BM tone. It was a quality instrument. I'd say it's the ultimate studio guitar!

Great guitar for the value
I bought this guitar in 2014 from a local music store for a few hundred, the p90's sounded really nice and the overall build of the guitar was great apart from the buzzing. Whether it was just my specific guitar but it was fairly noisy.

that's p90s... they are single coils with overwound, giant bobbins that work really well as RFI antennas, especially in the modern world of iPhones constantly transmitting data

Easily playable and thick tone
I bought this guitar in 2012 as far I can remember. I bought it off Van McCann from Catfish and the Bottlemen. The guitar itself has a thick tone, it's very light and it's really easy to get to the highest frets

so you have a vintage one, not an RI? I swear they did a far east RI of this a few years ago, maybe I am wrong....

I have a vintage. Haven't played the RI personally but I know about it. Personally I'm the type of guitarist that seeks to get the exact sound of my favorite guitarists so I find out what equipment they have from top to bottom and try to get it all LOL! I got my JCM 800 & first Talman because Tom Morella had them. Mike Stroud from Ratatat has played a 66' Wilshire his entire career so when I heard Ratatat for the first time I needed to achieve that guitar sound. Now that I've had it for years, went to Berklee for Production & Engineering and have since been further educated on sound design I realize the guitar has little to do with his particular sound. With him it's more so the effects & processing. He has a very cool recording technique where he writes a guitar part, plays the notes backward into Logic, then reverses the waveform so the attack is like an envelope effect. That and his Octavia & Whammy pedal are used to get that harmonized 3 guitars at once sound. I have a whammy 4 but I need a Whammy 5 + I cheaped out and got a Boss PS-6 instead of the Octavia. Now I'm gunning for an Octavia and an Eventide.
