One of the Best Guitars I've Ever Owned
The strat is such a quintessential instrument. I finally had the means to get a decent one and good grief this thing is incredible! I mainly use the neck pickup and fairly clean tones and it sounds smooth as silk. Not only is the Fender Standard Strat an amazing sounding instrument, it looks gorgeous as well.

My First Guitar-Over 15 Years Ago
This thing is a great beginners guitar and that's about it. While sure, the shape is considered cool by some, many also think it's cheesy and played out. I still like it to a point, but I hated the original finish on it. Since I'm going to start working on becoming a luthier, I decided a good first project would be to sand this one down, refinish it and throw some nice hardware and pickups in it (just for show, they live elsewhere now lol). Overall, it still sounded like a plywood guitar, but it looked a lot nicer to me. Fun project, sub-par guitar.

It Does the Job
The Line 6 Head is a good tool for playing around in different genres like I do. That being said, certain music communities see this amp as a bit of a joke. It can get decent tone out of it, but pales in comparison to big-time amps like Mesa and Marshall. This head is great for practice, and home recording if used creatively. It is loud enough (with the 4x12 cabinet) to play live but it is not the most ideal depending on what kind of music you're playing. For the money however, this isn't a bad choice, especially if you can get it used. I still need to invest in something more substantial, but for now, this gets the job done pretty well.
