Good looper app

Voice Jam Studio is a really good looper for iPad. Four independent loop tracks, each with levels of overdub and undo/redo. Loops are quantized to a metronome click (that can be silenced). Built-in effects (from TC-Helicon, quality stuff). Built-in performance recorder that films you via the iPad camera and can also record the VJS control panel, allowing viewers to track your in-app movements.

Get it. Use it.

Reliable. Versatile. I use 'em for singing, beatboxing, recording some instruments. Plenty of good mics out there but you can rarely go wrong with a 58.

Fun but slightly flawed looper

The RC-50 was the best looper of it's kind when it was released, but did not quite hit perfection (the RC-505 hit perfection). 3 phrase loops, some great features, and a looper that has been used joyfully by many a performer, but had some shortcomings that have been almost completely remedied in the 505.

I'm intrigued. We're talking loop pedals in the forum. Would love to hear more about what you like and dislike about the RC-50 and RC-505.

solid delay and basic looper

Used this as my primary looper for quite some time. Solid, basic function, good value. Build like an optimistic tank: I'm going on six years of it being thrown in and out of car trunks and gig bags; cosmetically worn but still runs like a kitten's whiskers. Lots of great delay settings, I love the analog and reverse delays, and you can get great sci-fi sound effects by changing the timing settings while the delay is going.

Powerful FX box

Tons of amazing sounds, deep levels of editability, excellent box.

Buttery smooth octavizer

I use it for vocal bass. Great response time and no distortion. Smooth, warm tone. Love it.

The best looper. Period.

BOSS finally got it exactly right.
