If you want a x0x box sound drumbrute is not for you. The sounds on it are different, but the individual outputs makes it great for post processing and you can achieve great results. The drum pads are not the best on the market, but with time you get used to it. The roller/looper strip is a great add. The filters are ok but lack a little more ressonance. I great add to any setup
Don't be tricked by the small size. Mopho desktop is a beast. Great sounding and best budget monosynth. With a mopho plugin (paid) you will have access to all parameters and can configure it to any midi controller. 4 lfo's that can be assigned for almost everything, build in sequencer and latch (with the last firmware update).
If you don't like the unclean PW (for me it is the character of the little box) you can easily circuit bend it with. The board also have the possibility to add a usb port.
Don't take me wrong, I love both my apc40, but the stock sliders are probably the worst ever made to a dj gear. They break all the time and keeps sending ghost signal. If you want to use it to make fast cuts with the sliders go with mkii
This thing is a tank. Really well build, ok preamps and a good converter (there are lots of better ones nowadays). With 6 ins and outs and a Midi interface it is a good central piece for small home studios.
