Mods, can you please update: Oak Creek Guitars “Orion” Apollo 16 tribute.

Oak Creek Guitars “Orion” Super Jumbo Apollo 16 tribute guitar.

This guitar was hand made by Oak Creek Guitars in San Diego, CA. The tip is 5A curly redwood with highly figured walnut back and sides.

Figured maple and walnut neck, steel and carbon fiber non adjustable truss rod system, ebony fretboard with mother of pearl inlays and stainless steel frets, L.R. Baggs anthem pickup system and numerous custom inlays.

With hand cut mother of pearl fret inlays, including a Randy Rogers Band Logo, Lunar module and CSM orbiting the sound hole, astronaut cowboy on the back with Apollo 16 patch, truss rod cover containing space flown material and the Oak Creek Guitars “space logo”, this is truly a special piece.

Complete with custom strap and case, this one of a kind instrument was a gift from Apollo 16 Astronaut and moon walker Charlie Duke to country artist Randy Rogers.

This is a hand built super jumbo acoustic made for artist Randy Rogers of the Randy Rogers Band. A gift from Apollo 16 astronaut and moon walker to his friend and Texas neighbor, Randy Rogers. Built by Oak Creek Guitars in San Diego, CA, this guitar is amazing and contains pieces of space flown items.
