Thanks so much for your advice. I'm running it through my amp bone clean, not in the drive channel, no drive whatsoever. My signal chain is usually Compressor -> Chorus / Vibe -> Tremolo -> Delay -> Reverb. To save myself the trouble, I'll probably end up selling it (I didn't get it for much in the first place) and put some money towards a better one (I have always liked the Strymon Flint reverb/trem combo, but we'll see). The Supa trem takes up quite a bit of real estate on my board as it is.

I just got a fulltone Supa-Trem tremelo pedal a couple months ago, and it sounds great by itself but I noticed that when I put it into my signal chain, it is very weak and basically unnoticeable if I don't put it at the very beginning of the signal chain. I tried solely battery powering it, using both my power supply and batteries, but neither of these works. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks!

How to get this sound? - Post here to get ideas on how your favourite band gets their sound.
Hey guys, once again I've got another question about a sound in one of my favorite bands, The Neighbourhood's, songs. Around 2:33 during the video of this live performance of "How" the lead guitarist plays chords that definitely sound like an octave pedal is being used. Also, in the guitarist's profile on this site, he owns a EHX POG. I was just wondering if anyone could find out what variations of octaves hes playing, whether its just an octave up (which is what it sounds like) or something more complicated. I have little experience with octave pedals but I would like to pursue this sound he's making. Here's the link: http://youtu.be/sWHPUcQaIBQ

Thanks a lot, man. Yeah, I will soon be purchasing a Fender Blues deluxe reissue so I can finally get out of modeling amps, which I am not fond of at all. The wildkat is also awesome ;) I've been messing around a little trying to get this tone down but I'll spend some more time on it.

Okay. Would you say the reverb is modulated? Or just a hall type sound

It's possible it could be shimmer of some sorts...He also does have an EHX Clone Theory and it sounds like that might come into play a little bit at the end. My biggest question is how he gets that cool swell/wavy delay sound.

Hey everyone,
There's this track on Indie band The Neighbourhood's new album "Wiped Out!" called The Beach, and in the verses, the rhythm guitarist uses this cool reverb & delay effect. However, i'm not 100% sure how he does it. The reverb definitely sounds modulated, and the delay makes the guitar chord sound like waves, which makes me think it might be some sort of swell delay. The guitarist's name is Zach Abels, so you can check out his gear on this site, but i'll tell y'all now that his main reverb pedal is a Boss RV-5, and his delay is a Line 6 DL4. You can't hear his playing in the live versions as well, so heres an audio link: https://youtu.be/DujKJ1OaLQE
You can also hear the effects at the end of the song around 3:00. Please help me out & let me know! Cheers

That sounds about it. And yeah, on the guitarists EquipBoard profile he does have some cool eventide stuff. His name is Zach Ables if you want to go see if you were right or not. Thanks

I've been really into the band The Neighbourhood lately, and I was wondering how the guitarist to OUR left gets that cool sound at around 3:30. Thanks!
