Fantastic value!

Yamaha has elevated the production guitar game here. High quality all around! Can't ask for more in this price range. My specific guitar is a showroom demo, so I had to do a little fret polishing and tailoring the set-up to my preference, which you usually have to do anyways. Intonation was a breeze! Put a set of Ernie Ball Mega Slinky strings on, and it feels great. Maybe a bit too much laquer on the back of the neck, but I can fix that. The Yamaha design pickups are decent, good enough to gig with, might replace them down the road. Probably more worth it to upgrade the amp first. If you're on the fence about buying one of these, rest assured you won't be disappointed!
