A real Les Paul Feeling with a just price!
I bought this guitar in 2007 when the Strinberg imported guitars from korea too. This model (clp 78) are korean, the body is Nato. This gear is more fat than the actually model (CLP-79) and your neck is a C shape. I love this guitar! Is one of my favorites, this caps are shy, but i'll give upgrades.

Yeah, Nato, is a wood type, called "asian mahogany". tha actually CLP from strinberg, are made by basswood.. And i didn't like this wood for LP models.

A guitar with real mahogany in Brazil is something like 2500 R$, this cost me 600R$ something like 180USD

Tagima T-Zero is a great guitar!
A 27 frets guitar, with a basswood body, the original caps are so shy, but if you upgrade it will be a real shred machine! So versatile guitar, my tagima have a Hot rails and a Malagoli Sound HH 777 (Henry Ho signature), and a push-pull system. Many sounds in one guitar!

so the tone capacitors hold this guitar back? is it the value you did not like? did they kill too much top end for you?

The tone capacitor is a orange drop, it cames with a puss pull system. The guitar costs here in Brazil a 400 USD. Its a higher price in my money, something like 1300 R$.

wow... $400 USD? I can't remember the last time I found a guitar for that little that was worth taking home... maybe in 2002?

@jimmarchi1 I don't understand what you mean with: "did they kill too much top end for you?"
