Most fun pedal that I've ever used!!!

I totally love this pedal. But I thing that is not for everyone. If you're looking for something anarchic, a little unreliable, difficult to control and setup... this pedal is for you!!! At the moment everything that I've said sound wrong, but let me explain... by anarchic I mean that the way that the sound comes out of this pedal is like trying to ride a savage stallion, probably you'll never control it totally but both will learn to understand and respect... and with that a relationship almost symbiotic will emerge. It's unreliable and difficult to setup because you need to check where to put it in your effect chains, also you need to careful set up your amplifier. I neglected most of the parameters in the amp (just using gain and volume) because the pedal can create so much fuzz that the process of finding the right tone can be difficult for your ears, but believe me is super fun. About the parameters... even the instructions say something like "each knob controls most of that aspect of the sound, but not totally" meaning that there are other ways to get a sound with more compression, fuzz, volume not using directly the "vol" gate. In my short experience I can give you some tips... "stab" move it all to the right, if you move it to the left you'll get weird and annoying noises (which I love) that comes from stabbing a part of the signal, it's cool but not for everyone. I think that I'll adjust this parameter at the end if needed. The "gate" knob can add of remove some cool background noises like a drive, if you move it all to the right you won't hear them, but if you move it to the left you'll start hearing them. "comp" and "drive" are self explaining and "vol" is like a gain... it can give you a huge amplifying sound so use it wisely. Aaaah! one last thing, the battery, I read that it can last for years!!! which is cool if you don't want to carry your whole pedal board or an external power source and you only need this effect to jam with your friends or whatever.

My best guitar!!!

I bought this looking for a regular acoustic guitar to practice but with a sound in the bass that cannot be easily muted by the sorroundings. I was looking for something cheap but when I heard this guitar (and the Taylor Mini)... damn, I payed almost 3 times more than what I wanted to expend but it worths every cent. Even I think that I won in this transaction. At the moment I knew nothing about the Taylor brand but when I got the guitar I knew in an instant that it's a superb piece of craftmanship in every aspect. The Grand Auditorium body makes the lower notes protagonist of the music. It comes with a very nice carry bag and elixir strings.

About setbacks, these are not setbacks but things that probably you should consider when you buy a guitar. If you want to play in a big venue probably you'll need a pickup, there are other models with same characteristics but with a pickup, but for small places like bars or a house I think that it's not needed the guitar fills everything with sound. The other thing that you should consider is if the warm sound is for you, if not I think that the you should consider the Taylor Mini is a great guitar and Taylor sells a specific pick-up for this guitar (I think that this is the guitar that Damon Albarn uses in his shows). And just to finish is the cut to access higher notes, I love to play "Many of Horror" by Biffy Clyro and a couple of chords are above the fret 12, I have big fingers and play that chords differently than how I should do it but all that is to be able to play the song, I see people struggling trying to get some songs, but it all depends of what you want to play.

All around and a must for a beginner.

Before buying a new amp I looked for something easy to use, easy to carry, a nice sound and not that expensive. And after comparing lots of amplifiers and reviews from buyers everything pointed to the Fender Mustang III v2. At 100W it manages a good range of effects. It's interface is simple and may take some time to learn to use it, but once that you do you'll realize that it's very easy. Took me a while because I'm more used to graphic stuff but after experimenting I finally understood the logic. Also it can be connected to your computer so the configuration of the chain of effects and amplifiers can be done in a more friendly interface and be transferred to the amplifier.

I recommend this to any beginner that is thinking into getting something to learn the differences between effects and amplifiers and to find his/her inner sound. Before buying this I was thinking into buying a bulbs amplifier but I think that at the moment I'm pretty good with this one. In the end is more important to learn what you want and what you're more suitable of than expending money just on a hunch.

Ah! and it also comes with a stomp-box with 2 buttons which can be configured to change between presets or activate/de-activate some effects it's very cool how it can adapt to your needs.

By the way, there's a red version (which is the one that I have) and it's beautiful.

Warm sound and beautiful body.

This guitar is perfect if you play some jazz music. And actually is very versatile for other genres. I play rock and it sounds amazing, strong, with presence, low notes almost emulate a bass. I only have two setbacks: feedback, it can be muted with your playing style but if you're a beginner it will take some time to control, and this is more personal but the width of the neck is a little bit smaller and the distance between frets is slightly smaller than regular guitars. I have large hands and fingers and took me some time to adapt to play some chords but once you manage it it's pretty cool.
