does it blast your tone? If I ever design an amp I'm going to go the silly name route and call it something like "super-nuke-destructofier Lead 100"

It sunds okay, but it fits intomy rig well, stupid name and all. The bass control is a big help for me. My rig has pretty defined lows and even with a healthy amount of level boost a lot of drives leave a vacuum in the bottom of my tone when engaged. I rarely use my 'custom badass etc.' since going MIDI, but it got me into the world of pedals with bass controls that boost or cut low end at a fixed frequency without substantially cutting highs like a lot of the boutique pedals with 2 or 3 band 'amp' tonestacks do. I don't want to fck with my amp's frequency response. I bought my amps because I like them as they are, I just wanna add boost and dirt.
