Nope didn't mess with its keybed other than cleaned and replaced the felt... Its so clean and re-added new lithium grease down in the plastic just like I removed from it, but mine was much cleaner...lol.

I agree. I'm a purist at heart when it comes to electronics, but when I see an opportunity to add something that will make it better like the multi input joystick just above the pitch bend wheels so that while you hand is "rubbin" the wheels... your fingers can be put to work to... https://equipboard.com/gear_photos/9115 this is the paint I did around the wheel area before I said a prayer and asked for forgiveness.... I drilled a hole into the panel above the benders and in the middle, is a purple circle dome... a very sleek JOYSTICK!! lol....

I got to repair my first Prophet, but got sick last March and was never able to finish it lol, it was so close too. I did get to finish the detail on it. I'll post some pics , I finally found them again lol. Oh the Korgs.... I used to HATE korg... not sure why... the first one I touched was plastic.... it really was a bummer for me as a kid. I was in a store with Jupiter-8's and Roland System 100's all metal, ARPs, MetaL!!!... that was my early formation of what a synth should be made of metal.. It's why my first real "keyboard" synth was a MiniBRUTE..lol its funny now. Many many years later....But then Volcas came out. I was intrigued for sure. My first was the Volca Bass. I try not to embellish info on them, because a lot of what you can do with them is really under the rug so to speak with the exception of the Volca Bass... "bless their hearts.".. I love that instrument. The schematics rock. I've compared what I can do with it sound-wise, to what I can do with my TD-3 and even my microKorg . It so much much more "rewarding" the things you can do; of which some are just basic amazing things, like easily creating Space Echo like Reverb. It takes some time to let it start self modulating but by inducing lfo waves into motion recording and twisting LFO and ENV knobs, it just began to echo... I was like... I gotta remember how I did that. lol It's no wonder they have the motion recording on all the new models of synths. I like the DWs I fell in love with the Free Poly800 from FullBucket. Wow.. and his 3300 try it. I pluged my Korg into it and it was like playing a hardware synth. They both play nice together and passed information back and forth with no real mapping other than the "famous 4"

Was just stopping by... I am redesigning a DX11 for my wife, and.... have you ever noticed the sublime 80's color scheme Yamaha chose for the DX's? Of Course, black, white, that sea foam green, but... I guess I never noticed... I was cleaning this looking at everything and noticed (for the first time :) ) brown and pink in the color scheme of the buttons. A lot of Brown letters but just one Pink... I changed that. lol.

No its not all pink... goodness im not that sacralidge.. posting soon..
