Excellent clone
Can do clean, can do dirty, sample and hold functions are great. Mixing waveforms is really good, 3 different sync modes, can modulate VCO1 with VCO2 and/or vice versa, nice little patch bay, and dedicated noise mixer as well. The original Octave CAT is not in production anywhere else.

Glad you're digging this. I remember reading an article in SOS (or similar) years and years ago where someone reported hearing an Octave CAT make a sound just like shattering glass... which has always had me curious about owning one someday.

Very powerful and very close to actual MS-20 sound
Filter 1 is noisy, but so is the original MS-20 filter and it has its gritty uses. Being able to switch to Filter 2 is so nice (taken from mk.2 of MS-20), it's so nice and smooth. Patch bay is incredibly powerful. Oscillators sound great, LFOs and envelopes work well, can't wait to rack mount it.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Makes great bass lines and stabs, filter sweeps are otherworldy
