A legend, reborn.

Harby Centauri Mk-II further refines our original Centauri design, which is our take on the coveted Klon Centaur, pushing audio fidelity to new heights. Built with ultra low-noise thin-film resistors, Class 1 Japanese capacitors, and original vintage 1n34a germanium diodes, it delivers the Centaur’s iconic warmth and clarity without the $7,000 price tag. Housed in a precision-milled solid aluminum enclosure, it’s a studio-grade tool for true tone purists.

The legacy.

In 1994, Bill Finnegan made a legendary contribution to the guitar industry: the Klon Centaur overdrive stomp pedal. With a clear, well-articulated sound that’s free from synthetic, solid-state distortion and unnecessary heaviness, the Centaur became a favorite among guitarists everywhere, and its popularity hasn’t declined since.

Not everyone could get their hands on one, though. Finnegan only built ~8,000 units, and these days, they command prices in the neighborhood of $7,000. So naturally, many guitarists opened up Centaurs to study the circuit board schematics in order to copy them and build their own. For years, these guitarists were thwarted by a thick layer of black epoxy coating every Centaur circuit board. It wasn’t until 2009 that Martin Chittum finally managed to remove the resin from a Centaur and a schematic was revealed.

Like our fellow pedal junkies, we decided to recreate the Centaur to take up less space on your pedalboard without sacrificing the original’s clarity and sweetness. Using the original circuit board design and parts that Finnegan himself relied on, the Harby Centauri Mk-II can be used on any pedal board for a huge range of applications. Use it on its own to juice up your output, get a clean boost with the drive knob turned down, or combine it with fuzz and distortion pedals to add a slightly thicker character to their heavy grit. And with its buffered bypass, the Centauri Mk-II, like the original Klon Centaur, is never truly off—its mellow, clear tone can always be relied on in the studio and on-stage.

All that said, we’d never claim that the Centauri Mk-II is a perfect sonic match to any Klon. Finnegan himself said that the sound varied from Centaur to Centaur, due to the nature of the clipping diodes he used. We’ve simply attempted to replicate the Centaur’s quality and richness through a faithful reconstruction according to Finnegan’s specifications, and using original new-old-stock 1n34a germanium diodes. The results speak for themselves.

Sonically the Big Puft is an amalgam of Zach's preferred BMP circuits. It has a smooth and moderate amount of gain, a ton of output if needed and a tone stack that is more mid forward so you aren't as lost in a mix. Complete with True Bypass switching on a Keymaster inspired PCB.

Each of the controls on this unit have been tweaked to give you the most control possible. The LIGHTKEEPER™ is an all-tube preamp inspired by the clean channel of the D-style "high-plate" amplifier.

This preamp shines with its bright clarity and articulation, capturing the essence of a vintage American tone while offering tighter bass and more pronounced mids. It includes a distinctive "Skyline" tonestack that enhances the traditional 3-band circuit, allowing for less interactive and more precise tone control.

The LIGHTKEEPER™ can serve as an exceptional pedal platform, providing that sought-after tube feel for any setup without an amp. It's particularly well-suited for direct connection to a power amp or FX return. You can also plug it into the front of your amp, although the outcome will heavily rely on your amplifier's internal preamp characteristics.

With its three-way Deep and Boost toggle switches, the LIGHTKEEPER™ offers a wide range of tone adjustments. When positioned in the middle setting, these controls can be operated via the onboard or an external footswitch, giving you even greater flexibility.

The GAINLORD is a dual-channel preamp/overdrive inspired by classic British amps of the late ’60s through the ’80s, the amps that defined hard rock.

Built on real high-voltage tube circuitry, it delivers the same punch, harmonic richness, and touch-sensitive response as the originals — in a compact pedal format.

The two channels cover a wide range of voices. The low-gain channel is open and gritty, sitting at the edge of breakup around 9 o'clock. Push it harder, and a grainy crunch unfolds, with a sagging low end that adds warmth and body. The high-gain channel is tighter and more aggressive, with defined notes and extra top-end bite, yet it still cleans up naturally when you roll back the guitar's volume.

Both channels include a Bright switch that adds presence; on the high-gain channel, it can act as a subtle gain boost. A 3.5mm TRS jack allows remote control of channel switching and the high-gain Bright.

The output level reaches approx. 80% of the standard line level. The Tone Cut switch offers two modes: a full-output preamp for power amps or cab sims, or an overdrive-pedal mode with a lower level and scooped high-mids for front-of-amp use.

Power is supplied via the included AC/DC adapter or any 12V DC, 500mA pedalboard power supply. If a single output provides less than 500 mA, two 12V outputs can be combined using a current-doubling cable. Do not exceed 12VDC.

The GAINLORD can be used in front of an amp, into a power amp, or with a cab simulator, bringing the golden era of hard rock tones to any setup.

Inspired by the 1969 Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi, Earwig shoehorns a giant variety of iconic fuzz sounds into the smallest effects pedal ever created. Roaring distortion, pulverizing crunch, and syrupy sustain—all in a comically small footprint.

Ridiculous Is Kind of Our Thing.

Earwig gives you beautifully ferocious fuzz tones and luscious sustain in a package that’s nearly as small as a 9-volt battery. Yes, we’re aware that a fuzz pedal this tiny is a bit ridiculous. But by challenging our notions of what an effects pedal has to be, a new world of possibilities opened up that we never expected. Turns out, making it small also makes it pretty awesome.

Controls:

• Level - Left for quiet, right for loud, but you already knew this. Acts like an overall volume control for the entire pedal, so you’re kind of in charge here.
• Tone - Shapes the contour of the distorted tone. Left is darker, mellower, and moodier, with more bass and less treble. Right is brighter with more sparkle and high end. Choose your own adventure.
• Sustain - Controls the amount of distortion and sustain. Left for less, right for more. Lefty loosey, righty tighty.
• On LED - LED is illuminated red when the pedal is on. LED may also illuminate in the middle of the night if Earwig is feeling lonely. Your pedal may occasionally require cuddles.
• On/Off Switch - Where’s the footswitch? How the heck do I turn this thing on? With Earwig, the whole pedal is the switch. It’s hinged at the top. Press below the knobs to turn it on. Press again to turn it off. Press it again if you’re feeling fancy.
• Ins/Outs - Earwig features one TRRS jack combining input, output, and power. Earwig comes with a breakout cable for your connections. Blue is INPUT, red is OUTPUT, and black is POWER.
