Good pedal board, but the power supply sucks

Good solidly built case and pedalboard, however, the power supply is nearly useless. The design is very simplistic and does not provide good RFI/EMF filtering and it is severely underpowered for use with modern pedals.

Split MIDI 6 ways - a compact, cost-effective solution for musicians

Sending MIDI to multiple devices should be simple! A thru-chain can add latency and you can't easily swap devices about during a performance, but a MIDI interface with multiple outputs can be expensive.

BANANA SPLIT is a simple, compact and cost-effective solution for splitting a single MIDI input to six parallel MIDI outputs which can be "hot swapped" without impacting each other and offers near-zero-latency on the MIDI signal.

The MIDI input is optically isolated, per MIDI-spec and each output is electrically buffered and protected with current limiting resistors.

This latest version of BANANA SPLIT can supply power to "bus powered" MIDI devices (on earlier versions a mod was necessary)

BANANA SPLIT includes a Beat LED which blinks with the MIDI clock. This provides both an indication that a MIDI clock is present and a "visual metronome" (which is always useful!)

MIDI IN connection can be made via a 3.5mm stereo jack socket as an alternative to the 5-pin MIDI input (do not try to use both inputs at the same time!). It works with a MIDI jack connections that use a "hot tip" (Novation, Arturia and others) - just use a stereo 3.5mm jack to jack cable connect up. Unfortunately, Korg does not follow this standard, but you can use a lead which crosses over tip and ring, or just use the 5 pin socket to receive MIDI from Korg gear. All MIDI OUTs are 5-pin sockets.

Great set of four MIDI Control pedals. Great functionality, but could be built more robustly.

The CFC-1 allows you to control virtually all MIDI control aspects with a foot pedal. Looking for a volume control pedal that won't ever develop noise from the potentiometer? This is it. Want a MIDI wah-wah? This is it! I think you get the idea. A great multi-use pedal - and hard to find!

RFC-1 MIDI MIDIgator The Midi Mitigator is a midi foot controller that allows the user to organize your midi system by song titles (or other messages) that are displayed on a large 16 character Alpha/Numeric display.

There are 8 rubber covered footswitches to operate the RFC-1 during performance and a 32 key membrane keyboard for use in editing command strings and function selecting. There are 128 memory locations available allowing 640 command strings. Each string having up to 255 bytes in length consisting of any commands allowed by the midi specification. Also has a set mode to allow 3 different set lists that can programmed in any order desired out of the main memory. The continuous controller input requires pedal with a 75Kohm potentiometer.

For example, I set up a patch that sent sysex commands to every unit in my rack to configure them to the proper MIDI channel and recieve mode in case something happened to hose my setup.

I have also used the unit to start and stop a sequencer. And since the RFC-1 can also send note on/off information I have used it to like bass pedals on several occasions and even had it play chords with the individual notes being sent to different synth modules on separate MIDI channels. Try to do that with any other footswitch!
