Unique Spring reverb offering 3 band EQ, input gain stage, and gating
Great reverb for getting those classic spring reverb tones on drums, synths or guitars. The spring are very bright, but luckily the front panel offers a 3 band EQ for adjusting the tone of the wet signal. Gating is great for getting massive snare hits, input stage distorts nicely and can cause massive shaking of the spring tank.

My upgrade from my HS8s. Excellent response in the highs and lows for a 6.5" cone.
I prefer the bass response on my 65s to the Yamaha HS8s, the HS8s didn't deliver the same level of clarity in the low end as these do. The highs are very clear and crispy, makes mixing my high hats and reverbs a breeze. Room controls are very effective for most spaces

Solid overall mixer, subgroups are great but on 8 Direct Out
Main issue with this mixer is that it doesn't have direct out for every channel. Otherwise, it's very flexible, with the subgroups offering some interesting routing possibilities, 6 sends, 4 stereo returns and chunky EQs that add a solid character to my basses, hi hats, and snares.

Best 303 emulator
Definitely the best of the 303 emulators. I've used the older TB-3, X0X, and TT-303, but this one features all the features and programming options of the original plus some nice modernization like internal soundcard via usb, delay (tape emulation or digital), and distortion (3 different distortion modes). CV/Gate/Trigger options are awesome for integration into a modular setup. Main drawback is the 1/8" cables are hard to find in a suitable length for a studio set up.

judging by the quality of the 303 VST in Roland Cloud, I wouldn't raise an eyebrow to someone choosing this over true analog options.

Excellent introduction to analog synths
This instrument offers all of the standard features of a traditional east coast style analog synth, but adds a very colorful and fun filter. The addition of the patch bay creates a synth that grows with you as your develop a deeper understand of what is possible with synthesis. The envelops are not very snappy so it's hard to get good percussive sounds out of it, and the V/Hz instead of V/Octave makes it difficult to integrate into any other patchable synth without the purchase of a converter. Excellent for sustained or housy basslines, drone textures, arps, and leads

Excellent Wavetable sounds in a tiny footprint.
This synth is capable of a wide variety of sounds and is an incredible studio synth. While the device has been laid out so to avoid too much menu diving (most features can be reached within 1 or 2 button/knob combinations) creating sounds from scratch can still be daunting and difficult. With that said, the presets are incredible and offer a good starting point.

Very deep and playable tabletop synth.
Great sequencing and playability features for live use. Lots of interesting timbres can be achieved that are not found in many traditional East Coast style synths. I just wish it had individual out for each track, overbridge works fairly well, but I like to track things through my mixer.
