I need a good laptop.

Seems great! I'll keep this one in mind.

Thanks for the suggestion :)

I need a good laptop.

Well honestly, I don't really have a specific budget. I don't have any money currently. I want to find a decent laptop that would suit me well and buy it later on.

But I guess I could go up to around 700 USD. A 1000+ dollar laptop would already be high end.

I need a good laptop.

I'm currently searching for a decent laptop. But I don't know much about laptop's and their prices.

I don't need an expensive beast of a laptop that handles heavy duty tasks and games. I'm mostly gonna use it for running my DJ software (such as Traktor), music and other general tasks.

I would prefer either a Dell or Asus laptop, since they're very reliable. It needs to have an Intel i5 processor or an equal AMD one (although I prefer Intel) 2.0GHz and 4GB of RAM. Higher end laptop suggestions that are not too pricey are welcome too.

Thanks in advance.

v moda xs or sennheiser hd26 pro or hd25 or...

All three of those are great headphones. But I would recommend going with the Sennheiser HD 25-1 II.

  1. I'm a big Sennheiser fanboy x)

  2. Great sound quality (which is expected from Sennheiser).

  3. They're very lightweight and comfortable.

  4. A very high maximum sound pressure (meaning that when you put them on while the music is playing, the headphones will isolate most of it so you can concentrate on your transition in your mix).

  5. They have a very tough detachable steel cable.

In conclusion, these headphones were basically made for DJ-ing.

The HD 26 Pro are more for professional studio monitoring rather than DJ monitoring. Although you can use them as well, just like almost every Sennheiser product. I'm using the HD 280 PRO's. But I don't think you would be interested in them since they're bigger and heavier headphones. But they're not uncomfortable. They have an ergonomic design, a much better sound isolation (mostly because they're over-the-ear headphones and their overall size) and a true-to-detail linear flat audio reproduction. They're also cheaper than the HD 25's. I highly recommend them.

Another recommendation is the Sennheiser HD DJ series headphones (HD8 DJ, HD7 DJ & HD6 MIX). These headphones were made specifically for DJ use. They're a bit bigger and a bit more expensive. The best one obviously being the HD8 DJ with excellent sound reproduction, swiveling ear cups (up to 210°) and outstanding noise cancellation. You can check them out on their website: http://en-de.sennheiser.com/

Side note: I also have the HD 202 headphones. They're about 21-22 years old. They still work like a charm, and sound amazing! Basically, you can't go wrong with Sennheiser.

Hope this helped. Take care.
