Smooth Fuzz like it should be :)
The Sunface version I have is battery powered and has the "Sun Dial" bias trim knob so you can adjust the fuzz to suit ambient temperature and battery condition. However as I was going through 9 volt batteries at quite a rate I got the Gigrig's Virtual Battery and I have adapted the casing of the Sunface (not sure if that is a heinous crime but its a practical solution) so the cable connecting to the internal battery connector can come out and still have the back cover fitted.
Enough of the geekiness it sounds magic and with your guitar volume control you can control the sound for that just on the edge of breaking up to full on Hendrix fuzz sound.

Octave Fuzz for that quintessential Jimi Purple Haze sound
Two knobs one for Level the other for Fuzz but as well as that it does react to how you play.
I've only had one shot on it but I'm enjoying it already as I knocked out Pink Floyd's "Arnold Layne" which put a big smile on my face
