the tone is very good acoustically and plugged into an amp
as grunge/experimental rocker this guitar is the perfect tool for that, I have this guitar on loan from my music teacher and for being such an old guitar it had no problem staying in tune while doing bends and my only gripe with it is the input jack comes loose after some time like every guitar ever. I absolutely love playing behind the bridge while using distortion, favourite part about it. the cleans sound so amazing with both pickups on and the distorted tone is even better.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
instead of the usual 4 switches and 1 volume knob, the one in my possession has 3 knobs and no switches near the volume knob, i usually put my volume between 4-8 and tone 1 to 3 and tone 2 10. it dials in that 1989 nirvana kapu, linz show tone.
