Perfect for live shows, and a great deal now.

A great clip launcher that comes pre programmed for ableton live. Very fun to use, but missing some of the fun features in more recently released products. I never owned the Push or the newer apc (can't think of the name right now), but this one is missing velocity. Still perfect for launching clips. Prob can do more, but that's what I use it for.

So much fun to use.

I love this thing. I mainly use it for live performances. I modded it by attaching some metal hooks on the top corners, and use a laptop strap to wear it over my shoulder. I picked up a 30ft usb cord, and play beats of my chest for live shows.

Gets the job done.

I love this thing. Was able to get back to my records. Picked it up for about 110 a year ago on ebay. I use it to listen, and sample. I record it into my computer via usb + audacity. I also record straight into Maschine or Fl studio sometimes. Works great. I wouldn't recommend starting your DJ career with them though. At least get the 120s.

Just really getting into.

I've heard great things about massive, and have produced a few tracks with it. It has some great bass line sounds, and I've grown attached to a couple of synth pads. Still barely touched the surface of what this software synth is capable of. Plan to dig into it more soon.

Love this thing!

I record rap vocals with it. Also record random sounds to go into my productions. Handles both perfectly. Can go usb or xlr. Love it man.

It works.

It does what it is supposed to do. It feels and looks cheap....cause it IS cheap. It's small and light. Easy to get around, and fits in cramped spaces.

Get em!!!!

In my opinion, if you are building an "at home" studio, or just getting started out these are MORE THAN ENOUGH. I've been in a few "professional" studios. These put out a great representation of your music in comparison. Punch way above their price in my opinion. Lil tip: Guitar center puts these on sale frequently. The red ones usually run 30-40 dollars cheaper than the black or white ones. Same exact speaker. I got 2 for 200 brand new.

They work.

First pair I owned. They get the job done. I still use them now to compare with my other headphones. They don't represent the low end as well as I would like, but you can get them for like 20 bucks so no complaints.

Best for the price range.

I LOVE these things. They have them on amazon for $79. Such a great deal. I'm hearing things I never heard before. Flat/honest representation of the sound being played. I'm also a huge fan of sony headphones in general.

I use it for hip hop/boom bap style productions. Also some other genres but that is my main stay. Very fun synth and a great start into this area of hardware production. Very menu based when compared to something like the Microbrute. Love the sound presets, and the ability to manipulate/create new sounds. This thing has been a staple for YEARS. It was between this and the Microbrute for me for my first synth. Got a deal on a used MK for about 189 (crazy!). You can find them used at Guitar Center sometimes in the 200-250 range. Seen them on ebay for around 250-300. The brute starts off about 100 dollars cheaper at full price though. I plan to get that next.

Great so far.

I'm just diving into the world of Ableton. EVERYBODY loves it, so I'm giving it a shot. I've only used it in live settings to handle launching loops.

Solid usb interface

Works great in the studio, and on the stage. I produce with it, and record vocals. No issues at all. You do have to go to the website to install the driver though. Only downside I can think of.

Love it!

It's still good ole FL Studio, but they have finally updated the design. It works great. The FL ASIO has been working great for me also. At its heart it's still just regular FL Studio.

Fun to use

Picked up the MK2 a few months back. I just love using it. The mix of manual and technology is perfect. ALOT comes with it as well in terms of sounds and software. I also love the internal effects. I usually create my loops using the maschine, and then shoot the stems to FL Studio for mixing/tracking/etc. You can also run it as a VST in FL and Ableton which is nice for my live beat sets. It was a little complicated to get it setup with Ableton though. Definitly a great buy. If you go the second hand route make sure the owner has worked with NI to deactivate the license from his account. The controller brand new comes with the Maschine software, but it isn't "auto" transferred to new owners when handed down/sold.
