How can I add more images to a gear that already exists?

Hi! I didn't realize that EB would show my username as my official person/artist name on my equipboard. So then I go to settings to see if I can set my username as something more likely to what I want to show as my name. And it says "Unfortunately at this time you cannot change your username".

When am I going to be able to change my username?

Is there any way to show my first name or full name in my EquipBoard instead of my username?
