Killer

My first seven string. Sounds and feels killer. It has all the modern built qualities that a non custom or super high end semi-custom guitar should have. Light weight, thin neck, massive passive pickups (Bare knuckle Brute force) and the best fretboard ever seen/played. It doesn't feel like a "toy" guitar (sorry i don't know how to describe the feeling for better words ) which sometimes is a concern with production line Ibanez. It definitely is a shred oriented instrument.

I would opt for hybrid heavier gauge string right from the beginning on the low strings.

The only thing i could ask for would be maybe a little bit more rounded frets (the fret work quality is 9/10 ). Might be my personal feeling though as compared to my ESP EII Eclipse VB...

Absolutely satisfied with the this modern approach of a metal oriented ibanez. Go buy it

Brilliant idea!

I bought it just to hear my guitar when practicing with others without any amps in the room. Works great in giving you a tone close to the one from the original Vox amp as well as some options to shape your tone. Its not that accurate but who cares! I am listening to an amp sound through my earphones while the rest can't hear a thing!

Awesome (but should have bought the Closed Back)

Awesome but should have bought the Closed Back cause now the wall behind the cabinet is vibrating like a spaz.

Good but not that good

Good if you use it for clean sounds with small adjustments. Usable for dirty sounds with micro adjustments. Crap if you make big adjustments (too much noise and mud)!

But overall good. Go for it especially if you find it used!

Tiring experience...

Its sure is well built and good looking but at the end of the day, the time you need to invest in order to get usable tones makes the Fuzz Factory an overall unpleasant to use pedal for the average guitar hobbyist/player. I spent hours (honestly!) to fully explore the settings only to realize that its just to "unpredictable" for me. Taking that aside, if you do succeed in your quest for "a tone" you might be lucky enough to find "The Tone". In order words it can sound great but just dont make the mistake of moving any knobs after that...ever again...in your lifetime...
