After lots of research and listening to what was possible, I made the move from the Firehawk FX to the Helix. Ease of use, limitless possibilities make this a tool that every guitarist will enjoy.
No colorization of tone by this FRFR when used with the Helix. Good quiet and good LOUD. Priced so it’s affordable for just about everyone.
Bought this after selling some gear. Jumped right into this midi keyboard based on Sanjay C and a host of other reviews. Not disappointed.
The software and installation posed quite a challenge but lots of support available via YouTube and the Native Instruments Group on Facebook.
Once everything was up and running off my MBP, excellent results and hours of entertainment have been had.
If your looking for COMPLETE CONTROL of your midi, any of the Komplete Kontrol keyboards will work but the S88 is the one to go for.
I was torn between this and the Push, until I looked at the total cost to get it up and running.
Maschine Mk3 comes with a generous selection of sounds with Komplete 12 Select. The upgrade to the full version went on sale shortly after I bought the unit. Another $259 and now so much to pick from. Sounds, drum loops, orchestration, piano...you name it, it’s there.
Not totally intuitive software and workflow but worth the effort.
I’ve had this mike for a few years now. Works well and provides a quick audio interface for inputting my guitar into my DAW.
Good for private practice with a headphone jack for those times when quiet is required or when fleshing out your next song.
