Guitar Amplifier Heads

Marshall JCM900 4100

Avg price: $2,002.53

This is one of the longest used amps that Tim Sult has used in Clutch. He's used the JCM 900 since basically the beginning of clutch, and seen in this video from 1991 being (so far) the earliest video footage we have of clutch performing live, it looks like Tim is using (possibly two?) Marshall JCM 900 amp heads. Most likely this was used on the first three Clutch releases, 1991's Pitchfork, 1992's Passive Restraints, and 1993's Transnational Speedway League. But also he's still used JCM 900s in the present day too and has confirmed that it was one of the main amps (along with a Marshall JTM 45 head) that was used on Clutch's 2013 album, Earth Rocker. its uncertain what other albums he has used this head on, but its one of the amp heads that Tim's used the most throughout Clutch.
