"This shamisen was what I used for the solo on Nastymachine from my 5th solo album. That said, I know zero about the instrument, I don't remember how or where I got it, I've just always had it, and messed around with it from time to time. It's probably not a high end instrument, but it works, sounds like a shamisen and stays in tune. I would recommend it for a beginner or someone who is interested in Japanese instruments." - Marty
