According to Pepeu Gomes himself, his most famous guitar was developed over a Shecter guitar, during the recording of his album "Masculino e Feminino". According to him Eddie van Halen's guitar tech built a neck for him as follows: He made a mold of his hands and developed the perfect neck for his structure. For the body he dug the cavities and developed a preamp according to the sound the musician was looking for. The pickups are EMG active. There is still another curiosity, inside the guitar there is a drive pedal. Back in Brazil Pepeu had 4 more guitars built with the same specs.
Segundo o próprio Pepeu Gomes, sua guitarra mais famosa foi desenvolvida em cima de uma guitarra Shecter, durante a gravação do seu album “Masculino e Feminino“. Segundo ele o guitar tech de Eddie van Halen contruiu um braço pra ele da seguinte forma: Fez um molde de suas mãos e desenvolveu o braço perfeito para sua estrutura. Para o corpo ele escavou as cavidades e desenvolveu um pré-amp de acordo com o som que o músico buscava. Os captadores são EMG ativos. Há ainda outra curiosidade, dentro da guitarra há um pedal de drive. De volta ao Brasil Pepeu mandou construir mais 4 guitarras com as mesma especificações.
