So I finally got my hands on a Small Stone (big box NYC reissue with led) and it sounds really lovely, but it has one serious issue - noticeable volume drop when turned on. I have been wondering if anyone of you knows any easy to perform mods to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

And what do you think about the big box Small Stone reissue? I don't mean the current nano chassis one, but the discontinued big box version with led. Is the volume drop really noticeable on this one? Not so long ago I missed a chance of buying a black russian Small Stone for criminally low price, so now I have to look for something other (or wait for another one to show up) When it comes to Mutrons, even the smaller ones are rather out of my reach.

Hello everyone, I'm a big fan of early Pumpkins music and I am absolutely in love with the way they used modulation effects - especially phaser. I wanted to find out which phaser did they use on the intro of Mayonaise, and I have heard it was most likely either EHX Small Stone or MXR Phase 100 (or even a MuTron Bi-Phase, but I don't think I will be able to afford it in next 100 years) Any suggestions?
