Just incredible. A must
Just incredible. Dont like to use superlatives but this one is outstanding; the workflow is incredible: just record your vocalist, then at the mix adapt the kind of mic+preamp combo to fit best the texture of the voice for each section of the song; that is crazy useful!!! And the sound is just stellar actually better than everything I used including highend vintages neumann akg etc just because I can always fine tune things afterward, so the results are always at least on par and very often better. Only bad point is lack of other directivity... but franqly I dont care for vocal recording. `
A must buy for every studio, and I dont work for them!

No kidding...I've remained suspicious of this tech but it's knocking at the door harder and harder every day. Maybe because I'm not sure how to wrap my head around a "modeled" C-12 pulling off something close to my C-12, etc?
In any case- if you've got any non-NDA material you wanna share I'd love to hear it. I'm never sure what to think of the demos put on by the manufacturers. I'm looking at the Sphere as well but it's hard to call without getting "ears on" so to speak.
