Extended Range Guitar Effects Pedals
What I mean by that is. Are there pedals that sound better with 7 string guitars or extended range in general or does it not matter at all? I found a Protone Pedal called The Deadhorse Overdrive MK 3(which I can't seem to find for sale on their website any more). It had a button you can press where you can control the bass for the 7th string which made it sound better for those who played on a 7 string and was designed with 7 strings in mind. That's what sent me on this journey to find pedals either designed for 7 strings or designed with 7 strings in mind. I don't worry about aesthetics all that much it has to do with the sound for me.
Here's the link for the Protone Pedal I was talking about: https://protonepedals.com/tag/dead-horse-mkiii/

Extended Range Guitar Effects Pedals
Does anyone have any suggestions or know what pedals/pedal brands work best with a 7 string guitar?? I have been searching for pedals as well as pedal brands that will work best with or are made specifically for extended range guitars(mainly 7 string). I haven't had any luck besides finding Protone Pedals which is the only brand I have found so far that is close to what I'm looking for. I'm unsure if you can just use any pedal and it doesn't matter how many strings you have or if it is actually best to have a pedal designed for 7 strings. I am mainly looking for overdrive/distortion effects preferably overdrive, modulation effects like reverb and delay, and a noise gate. The guitar I have is a Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty Artisan 7 string, a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head, a Hughes & Kettner 1X12 cab, and a Fulltone OCD Drive. If any one can help me with this that would be great, thank you!

What's the best way to get into using VST's(I think is the term I'm looking for)??
Hello everyone, I have been wanting to get into Joey Sturgis Tones plug ins/Toneforge especially the Jason Richardson Toneforge that just came out as well as other VST(?) plug ins that are available but I am very new to this type of stuff and know pretty much nothing. So I was wanting to know where is the best place to start with getting into all of this and what are some important things that I need to know? I mainly want to use this stuff for practicing songs that I have been learning, getting the proper tones for those songs as well as getting tones I like for my own music then eventually move into recording. I haven't been able to find any YouTube tutorials or any online resources that have helped me at all with where I should start, what gear and software I need, etc. If any one can help me with this that would be awesome! I'm very sorry if I didn't explain this very well like I said I know nothing about this stuff and know nothing about getting into this stuff. Thank you to any one who helps answer these questions as well as providing any helpful information!

Best Budget Melodic/Progressive Metal Amp
Is there a certain Blackstar in the club series that I should check out or just search for what I like? Would it be possible to get these tones by buying a tube, if I have to solid state(salt of the devil!) combo amp then put the necessary pedals with it? Or could I do it with a solid state amp head and cab since that cuts down on the price a little bit?

Best Budget Melodic/Progressive Metal Amp
I haven't heard of Jet City before so I'll check it out, and I looked into used Mesas and that's still outside of my budget. What I'm trying to do right now is get a amp head and cabinet then worry about the pedals later on. I thought about using Egnator because their very versatile when it comes to tone, I also thought about using a low watt amp head and cab because that's a cheaper way to go but if I plan on joining a band I don't know if that will be loud enough. I also thought about going with a combo tube amp but a amp head and cab would get a lot better tone.

Best Budget Melodic/Progressive Metal Amp
I would do that but I wouldn't be able to buy a cab for it for a very long time after I bought it and that would my whole budget gone as well. If possible I would like to have some of my budget left over an that's the other huge problem I have.

Best Budget Melodic/Progressive Metal Amp
Hello everyone, I have a question that needs to be answered because I have been searching for years to find this but haven't had much luck so I need help. What would be the best budget melodic/progressive metal amp and how can I go about getting that type of tone on a budget? I play a lot of this style of metal( think Jason Richardson and John Petrucci) but I can't find the right tone that actually sounds good. The guitar I use is a Ernie Ball Music Man Artisan Majesty 7-String, the pedal I use is the Fulltone OCD Drive, and the amp I use now is the Marshal MG30CFX (which I bought years ago). My budget is around 5 to 600 dollars, If anyone could help with this that would be fantastic and I would be eternally grateful! Thank you all so much for your time and the help you provide :)
