aKING is a South African rock band hailing from Cape Town, known for their energetic fusion of rock, South African pop, and indie influences. The group was formed when former members of the band Fokofpolisiekar, Hunter Kennedy and Jaco Venter, teamed up with Laudo Liebenberg and Hennie Van Halen. In this lineup, Laudo takes on the role of lead vocals and guitar, Hunter handles guitar duties, Jaco is behind the drums, and Hennie plays bass.
